Sunday Services

Our Sunday Services begin at 11 a.m. and typically last around an hour.

Family members of all ages are encouraged to join us for the beginning of service.  Once per month, we hold an "All Ages" service, where children and youth stay and participate throughout the entire worship service.  During our other services, the children and youth participate through the "Story of Wondering," after which they are invited to join our religious exploration classes.  These classes last until 12:15 p.m.

After the service, please join us for our "Coffee Hour" in the Phillips Hall, just off of the Sanctuary.  Children are welcome to use our supervised playground and picnic area, though we ask all children be picked up by 12:30 p.m. Be sure to visit our table with the green table cloth to get more information about Unitarian Universalism and our congregation.

Earning her BS in Journalism from UF in 1973, she worked in writing and editing until discovering Unitarian Universalist ministry. She holds an MDiv from Starr King School for the Ministry and an MA from the University of South Florida, but among her children’s first words were always “Go Gators.”

Sunday Morning

Sunday morning is the heart of our community. We gather at 11 a.m. to challenge our spirits and intellects, respond to the demands of justice, celebrate those things that are of worth, and deepen our connections of caring and trust.

As you enter our Sanctuary’s foyer, friendly greeters are available to address your questions or give assistance. You’ll receive a copy of our weekly Gazette with details of coming activities for your future consideration.

Families are particularly welcome! Children share the first part of the service in the Sanctuary with their parents until it’s time for their religious education (RE) programs. About once a month adults and children share an entire service on an appropriate theme. Greeters can provide information about RE or the nursery care available for the littlest ones. Your children may also remain with you during the service. There is a comfortable Window Room at the back of the Sanctuary where lively toddlers or infants can play more freely while parents view and hear the service.
