Dee Graham began her social justice activism here in Gainesville in the early 1970s. Earning her BS in Journalism from UF in 1973, she worked in writing and editing until discovering Unitarian Universalist ministry. She holds an MDiv from Starr King School for the Ministry and an MA from the University of South Florida, but among her children’s first words were always “Go Gators.”

Sunday Morning

Sunday morning is the heart of our community. We gather at 11 a.m. to challenge our spirits and intellects, respond to the demands of justice, celebrate those things that are of worth, and deepen our connections of caring and trust.

As you enter our Sanctuary’s foyer, friendly greeters are available to address your questions or give assistance. You’ll receive a copy of our weekly Gazette with details of coming activities for your future consideration.

Families are particularly welcome! Children share the first part of the service in the Sanctuary with their parents until it’s time for their religious education (RE) programs. About once a month adults and children share an entire service on an appropriate theme. Greeters can provide information about RE or the nursery care available for the littlest ones. Your children may also remain with you during the service. There is a comfortable Window Room at the back of the Sanctuary where lively toddlers or infants can play more freely while parents view and hear the service.
