Good news! Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of a number of UUFG members and the UUFG Foundation, we are over two-thirds of the way toward our funding goal for the solar installation at UUFG. Without any formal outreach, we have raised $60,000. We need to raise an additional $30,000.
If you would like to contribute to the solar project, now is the time. Our goal is to have all the necessary funding in hand by November 31, before we get into the holidays and the new year.
If you can, please donate to the solar project, soon. Donations, no matter how big or small, are needed and welcomed. BUT, please, please, please, do not give funds to the solar project that will reduce your pledge to UUFG next year. This is a one-time expense, and it will pay for itself over the next several years.
Imagine walking up to UUFG this spring, seeing all the new solar panels on the roof generating electricity and dramatically reducing our carbon footprint and our utility bills. Wouldn’t it be gratifying to point to the solar array and say to yourself, “I helped make this possible through my donation.”

- Mail or drop off a check made out to “UUFG” and put “solar fund” in the memo line.
We also have a form that we are completing for each donor, documenting how they would like to have the funds distributed on the small chance that the project is not completed. For a copy of that form, click HERE.
