Our guest speaker this Sunday is Keri Shinn, co-founder of Thrive Hive ALC, a self-directed learning community in Gainesville. She is mother of 4 children who have practiced self-directed learning their whole lives. As a world schooling family, the Shinns have traveled the world together, living and learning in community in Central and South America, Asia, Europe and North America. This model of consent-based learning connects young people with their deepest gifts and invites their expression in the world. She will share the beauty that emerges when we live from our deepest gifts as a way to introduce the September Touchstone theme of Beauty. Sydney Crisp serves as worship associate, and James Chase provides our story for all ages. Please remember to bring a mask.
